The FMC A Tab

The FMC A tab allows you to perform loopback tests on the FMC A port. Figure 5–7

shows the FMC A tab.

1 For factory testing, you must have an FMC loopback card installed on the FMC

connector for this test to work correctly.

The following sections describe the controls on the FMC A tab.

XCVR 10G and CMOS

■ Data rate—Displays the current XCVR 10G (or CMOS) data rate in megabytes per

second (MBps).

■ Freq—Displays the data rate frequency in MHz which is equivalent to MBps.

■ Bits—Displays the number of bits transmitted since clicking Start.

■ Inserted errors—Displays the number of errors inserted by clicking Insert Error

button.
